Fujikura Z Com Better this way than the other. I weakened my grip a bit and began to replicate some decent drives. Fantastic Driver, even if it looks ugly, the results are deeply satisfying. I am not an avid golfer and have a swing speed of about I am now hitting the ball longer and striking it better. Swing speed for me is around …peaking at MPH.

Was this review helpful? In my first two rounds of golf I have been able to hit a and couple yard drives.
The FT-5 Tour model comes with the Fujikura E, a low-torque gram shaft available in regular, stiff and x-stiff, while the FT-i Tour model comes with the Speeder in regular, stiff and x-stiff. I can still slice even with this club.
Both Tour versions have a small Callaway chevron the V-shaped logo on the face to help set them apart from the standard versions. A rating of 6 for the state of the head informs me that most of my clubs rate at 4 or 5. I am consistently hitting flight drives. What a fantastic driver the Callaway Ft-i is. Callaway has made a shaft switch with these new drivers, moving from the Aldila NVS that was the stock offering on the FT-3 to a pair of shafts from Fujikura.
We can notify you by email the moment it’s in stock! I try all the drivers and unfortunately, buy too many and regret it.
Contributing to the Fusion confusion is the fact that the Fusion irons have gold as an accent color they follow the lead of the original Fusion driver and the Fusion Wide Sole irons introduced last year have grey as their accent color. So in the end I would recommend the FT-I to golfers looking for a straighter ball flight.
Breaking my game down and having lessons to correct it didn’t seem like an option for now so I decided to opt for this club based on a friends recommendation. I fysion bought this driver and it has given me an ectra 30 – 40 yards distance. Two great ft but for me the ft5 comes out on top as the one that I will be keeping It is a worthy up grade of an already very good club , The ft5 is one very good driver and at last the serch is finially over ,.
But the FT-i has a shorter, no-sock headcover with a magnetic closure system that also sports a black-and-orange color scheme. Helps a little and I am getting more run on the ball. One other thing due to the wider shallower face cti can tee it a bit lower and still hit it solid unlike some of the other big heads out there which I like alot. I then hit it another demo day this summer, still didn’t like it. I tried to like the Callaway FT-i driver and first hit it in the spring of at a demo day and did not like it at all.
Incidentally this friend purchased a used FT-i Draw off ebay for a little less money but it turned out to be fake so in the head I was happy to pay a little more for complete peace of mind. This is the first time I have used Golf bidder and I am delighted with the service from the point of choice to delivery.
The ball still flies quite ftl but I think I am getting more distance. I am astonished at how driver-technology has advanced since I acquired my present set of Callaways. A little bit of flair for the square guy. Delighted with service and can’t wait to play with new club!
Callaway FT-i Driver Review – Golfalot
First, the composite body on each has been painted glossy black to match the top of the cup face area, making it look like a traditional driver instead of a multi-material affair. Would have been a great day except for the rest of my game was poo. Fusipn see too many amateur golfers playing with the wrong equipment these days, me included. Better than other drivers including hi-boreXL, titleist d series, nike sumo and Taylor made quad. I’ll give it a try on the course next week and see how much extra distance I can get.
