If the raid array is being used during a resync, it will impact performance of the writing to the raid as well as prolonging the resync. The first specifically excludes RAID 5 which is what I am using and the second does not apply to the serveraid 8k. See our Sustainability Report. Where in the boot process can I set up the drives? I forget which and machine is off line at present given on the initial boot script. This helped me too. There are indications that I im also update the backplane firmware but I cannot find the right file.

Document information More support for: I have not been able to save any archive from any option I have found in the support CD although it did update my controller firmware. The strange thing is that all the drives are there and appear OK.
Rebuilding a RAID 1 array
I have already updated the firmware to v5. This is normal and they will go out when the resync is complete which normally takes approximately one hour to complete. If you can help here that would be appreciated. Many thanks for the reply.

I have found the error message I received in several d3400 but nowhere have I found anybody reporting a fix which is a poor reflection on either the product or the forum.

Generate an error report Capture these CLI command outputs: I did j4 chose quick start for building the array and it has been building for more than 36 hours so I am wondering if there is another problem with the serveraid.
If you can help I would be very grateful! There should be instructions on how to re-build when all drives are OK.
